Still Running
by Renee Condie
Sometimes we’re given experiences that, well, for lack of a better expression, “kill two birds with one stone.” We go through something and are given the power to share it because someone else needs the knowledge, hope, and inspiration. State of Mind
by Janice Stringham LeFevre
My mom says my brain fell out when I got engaged. No, she wasn’t referring to my choice in husbands. My brain, heart, and spirit were in fine mode when I decided to marry Steve. Rather, Mom was talking about my radical behavior changes. Suddenly, her previously well-organized daughter was absent-minded and forgetful. Indeed, I exhibited nearly every “twitterpated” symptom. Mom consoled herself with the hope that this was just a temporary state; most new couples journey to La-La Land for a while. The real me would return in a year or so!
Fat chance.

Operation Modesty
by Annette Lyon
In the late 80’s, girls wore peg-legged pants and ridiculously baggy tops with shoulder pads. The biggest modesty challenge at the time was if those pegged pants were too tight.
